Junior Choir Program

grades 2-8

The Junior Choir Program is a community music program sponsored by Pilgrim Lutheran Church . The choir is made up of student members and friends in grades second through eighth. At this time, the choir will practice on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 10:00 AM, and will then sing in the 11:00 AM Worship Service. Its musical selections range from classical to contemporary religious songs.

The Junior Choir program teaches every child proper vocal technique and the ability to read and understand music. Every rehearsal our choir members play rhythm and ear training games that develop their musical abilities. Many of the choir members go on to be leaders in High School and many will be music majors in college.

Besides Monthly Sunday Services and special concerts, the Junior Choir is well known for its musical productions.  Past musicals have included Oh! Jonah, Godspell Junior Aladdin Kids and American Ideal.
